Foxtail Studios LLC was founded with the intention of bringing professional architectural services to all communities.

Kristyn Anderson, AIA, grew up in Albia, IA. There she learned the importance of restoration and preservation. The activism required to maintain and curate a vibrant downtown community was the reflection of the hard work of individuals coming together.

Following her graduation from Kansas State University, with her Master of Architecture and Minor in Community and Urban Planning, she spent time gaining experience and connecting with multiple communities around the Midwest. During this time, she refined skills in new construction, adaptive reuse and historic projects.

In October 2023, Kristyn launched Foxtail Studios LLC in Abilene, KS, with a purpose to support new businesses and families with their architectural works, especially in our rural and remote cities. The mission is good design can be found anywhere, and it begins with the people behind it.
